"What a better way to serve Life, than to create beauty."
Patricia paints nude, live models. She only uses a few colors and there is passion and emotion in every stroke. Each work unfolds and becomes a story.
Patricia was born in Buenos Aires from a Catholic Argentine mother and a Jewish, Dutch father.
It was this eclectic combination of parents of different backgrounds and religions and extensive travel that gave Patricia`s youth a special flavor. Her way of surviving being a stranger in a strange land was to retreat into a rich fantasy life in herself.
Today Patricia lives and works in Amsterdam. She came to study art history and never left.
In 2016 after a long career writing books, publishing in different languages and teaching, she decided to start painting live models. In 2018 she had her first solo exhibition with Witteveen Visual Arts Centre in Amsterdam: 'Choices in love, stories of passion and trust.' The corresponding book was published in a limited edition and was sold at the Stedelijk Museum.
